Before you hit the ice
Peak Hockey Camp Rules.
A few simple rules so everyone stays safe, works hard, and has fun. Please read them over with your player before camp.
Gear
- Wear full gear every time on the ice.
- Make sure nothing is broken or could cause an injury.
- It's up to you to have standard gear. That includes everything the player needs to play:
- Helmet
- Neck guard
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Gloves
- Pants
- Shin pads
- Skates
- This keeps everyone safe.
On the Ice
- Listen during drills. No talking or goofing off when something is being explained.
- If you have a question, ask it while the drill is being explained.
- Be ready to go when drills start.
- No goofing off. You're here to learn and to help everyone get better, and goofing off hurts everyone's learning.
- Compete and give your best effort.
- Respect your teammates and coaches. No chirping and no rough stuff.
- Take water breaks when the coach calls them.
Off the Ice
- Keep the dressing rooms clean.
- No swearing, bullying, or messing around in the rink, lobby, or parking lot. This can get a player removed from camp.
Drop-off & Pick-up
- These camps are ice times only. There is no supervision when players are not on the ice.
- Players should be dropped off and picked up for each ice time.
- Players should be picked up by a parent or guardian.
- Recommended: arrive about 15 minutes early, just enough time to get dressed and ready.
- If a player is going to miss a session, send me a quick text or email. The sooner the better.
- If anyone stays and hangs around the rink, be respectful. No messing around, no disrespecting the space, and no leaving a mess.
Health & Safety
- Tell me if you feel unwell, sick, or not fit to practice or play.
- Put any allergies, medications, or conditions on the registration form so I have them.
If the Rules Aren't Followed
- If a player keeps breaking the rules, fights, or plays in a way that is dangerous or disrespectful to the coaches or other players, they can be removed from camp without a refund.
- I've never had to do this, and I don't expect to. These rules are just here to keep every kid safe.
- Bottom line: follow the rules, be respectful, and remember we are all here to learn and get better.
Questions about the rules?
If anything isn't clear, send me a message and I'll get back to you. These rules are here so every kid gets a safe, fun week on the ice while they learn and get better.
